figure drawing
About three weeks ago I started figure drawing in an old Opera House on Sunday mornings. I Love, Love, Love to go to life drawing sessions and work with a model.
It’s been a long time since I’ve worked with figures..There was a “couple of years” period where I was drawing from the model 3 times a week. I had stacks of drawings. I lost all my figurative works on paper in a studio flood 3 years a ago (that’s another story). Now, drawing again it’s strangely liberating to be working without a whole stack of visual history in the flat files.
and….It’s GREAT to be working with a model again.
Here are a few .
